Harald Schwarzmayr becomes the new TEPPFA President

At TEPPFA 2024 General Assembly, TEPPFA members elected Markus Hartmann as Vice President of TEPPFA for a two-year term. Markus Hartmann is Managing Director of the German TEPPFA member KRV, the German Plastic Pipes Association.
Markus Hartmann is a chemical engineer and business economist and has more than 25 years of experience in the chemical and plastics industries. He has worked in the areas of production, research and development, technical marketing and business development, as well as in managing strategic projects and a market segment. He has been the managing director of the German Plastic Pipes Association for more than three years now. He joined TEPPFA Executive Committee in 2021 as the representative of KRV and is active within various TEPPFA Working Groups and Task Forces with a specific focus on Sustainability and Circular Economy topics. He is also advisory committee member of PE100+ Association and in the advisory board of 3R – Magazin für den Rohrleitungsbau und effiziente Leitungssysteme (3R – Magazine for pipeline construction and efficient pipeline systems).
Due to his long-term experience in the chemical and plastics industries and his knowledge and contacts in politics, he wants to further intensify and expand the exchange and cooperation between the national associations and TEPPFA.
TEPPFA General Assembly further renewed the Executive Committee members mandate for a two-year period of Harald Schwarzmayr (Wienerberger/Pipelife), Arnd Gildemeister (Geberit), Horst Stimmelmayr (Rehau), Mark Stanway (Radius Systems), Jason Shingleton (Genuit Group/Polypipe) Dolores Herran (Molecor), Alexandru Stanean (TeraPlast), Caroline Ayres (BPF Pipes), Kari Kuivalainen (FIPIF) and Alice Godderidge (FCIO).
On 15 May TEPPFA informed about the election of Harald Schwarzmayr as new TEPPFA president for the coming two years.
